FAMILIES DISPLACED AFTER STRONG WINDS DAMAGE HOUSES

Akini Mars looks at what is left of his home
Four families at Parfaite Harmonie on the West Bank are displaced after strong winds caused one house to collapse completely to the ground and ripped off the roofs of several others earlier on Wednesday afternoon. The most affected were Akini Mars of 410 Recht Doorzie Street, Sylvie Seebhajan and Paula Juma. No one was injured throughout the ordeal.

Juma said she had plans to sleep on her kitchen floor while her four children will sleep by her neighbors. The Mars family of seven- 5 children and Natasha Mars will sleep by the neighbors until tommorow when they are expected to find a place to stay. Akini Mars however will unfortunately sleep in the damaged minibus the family owns that debris from the house fell on.
