A family of nine from De Willem, West Coast Demerara is thankful to be alive after fire completely destroyed their home today shortly after 09:00 hrs. However their losses are in excess of twenty million dollars. The fire is reported to be of unknown origin.
Another man who rented the bottom flat for his electronic business estimates his losses in the millions.
