A Mon Repos woman is now dead after she succumbed to injuries at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation. The woman was rushed to the institution after she was ran over by a car driven by two men who snatched her blackberry cellular phone last night. She was reportedly in a critical condition. The woman whose name so far has been disclosed as Sheema died in the early morning hours. According to eyewitnesses after her phone was snatched, the woman ran in front of the vehicle and demanded her phone. However showing their seriousness not to hand over the device, the driver revved up the car and ran over the stubborn woman.
The Police are searching for the suspects based on eyewitness descriptions.
