WANTED TEEN COBRA CLAIM POLICE TORTURED HIM, SLAPPED WITH 4 CHARGES
Wanted teenager Tyrone Rowe called Cobra appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate Court on Monday unrepresented to answer to four charges slapped on him including the Murder of Troy Collymore who died days after at GPHC after a shoot out at Plaisance Line top mid August. Collymore was shot three times. Police had initially claimed that "Cobra" was the mastermind and executor behind the killing however he was not charged for the death of Anthony Taylor. So far the puzzle has not been fixed as to who killed Taylor during the same shoot out (who was reported to be one of the bandits) or why the Albouystown resident met his demise. eye witness accounts have also stated there were more than one gunman involved in that brazen robbery.
Cobra was also charged for robbing Mark Hunte, while being armed with a gun, of a gold band and chain valued $ 160,000, on May 16, while he was also accused of another robbery under arms, this time, the victim being Troy Collins. It is alleged that on March 1, Rowe relieved Collins of gold and diamond jewellery worth in excess of $ 1.4million.
While he was under heavy guard at the Brickdam Police Station, it is alleged that, on September 4, during an identification parade, he damaged the one- way mirror, ( a mirror that is used during an identification parade) worth $ 1.4 million.
However the teen has denied all involvment and has claimed he was brutalised by Police ranks. Police in response however has stated that the wounds on Cobra's body was self inflicted.
