TWO ARRESTED FOR STABBING ON SEAWALL

Dead: Dwayne Durant

Two men are in Police custody for the stabbing of a William Street, Kitty resident. Dead is Dwayne Durant, 18, and injured is Trevor Barrow, 18, of Grove Housing Scheme. The two along with Floyd Beckles were on the seawall watching the motorcade when they were attacked by three men armed with kitchen knives.
According to relatives of Durant, the stabbing incident is the conclusion of a drawn out 'old vibes' between Durant and the three men.
Beckles who managed to escape unharmed related that Durant and the men had a 'slight talk' with a girl who later brought one of the murder suspects to beat him up. However being unable to do this he later brought three other men.

Meantime Barrow is hospitalised in a stable condition. A post mortem examination will be done on Monday to determine his cause of death.
