TWO DEAD FROM ROBBERY SHOOTOUT WITH POLICE

‎​One bandit and the owner of a grocery store in Chateau Margot died after there was a shootout with three bandits and the police. An injured bandit is at GPHC receiving medical attention for his injury. Three armed bandits around 9:00 hrs yesterday robbed L n D Super Market located at Chateau Margot. The bandits shot the owner of the store who later succumbed to his wounds. Before escaping, one of the bandits was shot, they have since escaped into the Beterverwagting area. Police continues their search
Update:‎​Two of three armed bandits were gundowned by police around 10:00 hrs in the LBI area,the third one is in police custody. During the pursuit of the bandits a CPG/RC member, Davinand Shemraj was shot in the leg, he is being rushed to the city hospital.
This followed a robbery at the L n D Supermarket at Chateau Margot, the Supermarket Owner was also shot
